Dr. Toni Burbidge is a Canadian board-certified female dermatologist, practicing medical and surgical Dermatology. Originally from Ontario, Dr. Burbidge completed her Bachelor’s of Science at Queen’s University and obtained her medical degree at the University of Toronto. She moved out west to complete her 5 year dermatology residency training at the University of Calgary, where she held the position of Chief Resident.
She has a special interest in melanoma and other skin cancers, and is involved in melanoma research with the multi-disciplinary Cutaneous Oncology team at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. She also received funding from the Canadian Dermatology Foundation in order to study with melanoma and pigmented lesion experts at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York City during her residency. She has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, and has presented her work at national and international conferences.
When she is out of the office, she can be found hiking, traveling, or spending time with her family.
